United Methodists on Communion

As United Methodists, we believe that the Communion Table is the Lord's Table, not our "denominational" table.  We believe that by partaking in Communion, we are allowed to follow, in a spiritual sense, the Disciples in that "upper room", when Jesus forever changed our view of the Passover meal into a means of fellowship and Spiritual closeness to God.

We believe that the Lord's Table must be open to ALL who seek to renew and grow their spirituality.  You DO NOT have to be a United Methodist to celebrate Communion at our services.  We understand Communion as a "means of grace", wherby we can grow closer to God as we seek to bring Him into our lives, so we do not insist on having been baptized as a requirement for partaking in Communion with us.

We believe that Christ would not turn away anyone seeking to know Him better.  If you desire to grow closer to God, to grow spiritually into the kind of person God wants you to be, and wish to join us in fellowship as Christians, we invite you to come worship with us and join in our regular monthly celebrations of Communion with the Living Lord!

"And he took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, "This is my body given for you; do this in remembrance of me."  Luke 22: 19
